Richard C. Welch, Jr.
Vice President, Wealth Advisor

Mr. Welch's passion is to help and advise families in the transfer of wealth from one generation to the next. This is done through careful planning and listening to the specific, sensitive needs and desires of each individual/ family. Richard focuses on more than just Financial Capital but also Family, Human, Intellectual and Spiritual Capitals to impact the wealth holders and to prepare their heirs. He believes that philanthropy and eliminating estate taxes are critical for a solid foundation to this planning process.

Welch's career has been both in Corporate America and entrepreneurial ventures. In Corporate America, working for such companies as Brown Brothers Harriman (Boston), Twentieth Century Fox (Los Angeles) and DirecTv (Miami). As an entrepreneur, Welch has created companies in import/export, distribution and business development with Latin America. In 2001, the Welch family sold a steel manufacturing business after 33 years in Boston.

Richard graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Business Administration/ Finance. Also studied International Finance at Oxford University in England and the University of Seville in Spain. He is fluent in Spanish.

Member of The Irish Emerald Society, The Georgetown Club of Miami and The United States Green Building Council. Interests include Baseball, Golf, World History, Coaching, Photography and Travel.

Mr. Welch is from Hingham, MA and lives in Miami, FL with his wife and two young daughters.
